Both of my dogs derive some sort of sick pleasure from ripping apart plastic with their bare teeth. It doesn't matter what type of plastic it is...if they hear it, they will find it...only to leave a trail of tiny little plastic pieces in their wake.

Heheh that is funny! I didn't know they did that! I know Schatzie always liked finding bottles as toys on walks, but I didn't know that Sid and Dux liked any kind of plastic all the time.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it is just the sound they like, like why a lot of dogs like squeeker toys.
It has a lot to do with the sound, but I think they also get some satisfaction from tearing it into tiny little pieces. Also, they know that the plastic crinkling sound always precedes amazing things like bones and treats, so the association there also triggers it, I'm sure.
DeleteBy the way, how are you drawing so well on the computer? Very cool illustrations.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not sure how accurate the word "well" describes them, but I just use a really cool app on the IPad. It's called DrawingBox I think. It's really cool though, it has a ton of different brushes and effects and stuff, so that's why they look so detailed.
